Marchesa, a Harvey Weinstein production, is designed by Weinstein's long-time lady Georgina Chapman and also some other designer. Famous for dressing J. Lo at her most beastly times, her most classic, and also at her most Grecian Barbarella, Marchesa stumbled this season with a wildly schizophrenic array of frocks. Here is the prettiest look, a frothy pink number perfect for a Marchesa client named Miley Cyrus:Marchesa should realign with the hip-hop red carpet glamour that carried the line from the showroom to the Oscar red carpet. The Fall presentation veered from dowdy bulbous skirts to tight pants and one-shouldered blouses belted unattractively. It was confused, and does not jive with the Disney audience as per Ms. Cyrus.
