AnA swung by a presentation and preview fête for the Institute of Dress label at the fabulous club The Gates last night. We sipped summery berry cocktails named "The Fashionista" (probably for all of us here in the loft!) and schmoozed with some fabulous fellow fashionistas while taking in the different looks on display.

There was a lot of deconstructed, loose shapes and uber-trendy black power suiting, shoulder and all, that brought us back to our crazy days in the 80s. Note the graphic legging, a great look this summer that AnA hopes to recreate in neon colors, and tougher, well-trodden urban pieces.

Overall, a nice capsule of pieces from the award-winning label; keep it up and soon you might see Rihanna on the red carpet aglow and backless in IofD !
