Rock Me Sexy Jesus

While everybody will be speaking about the return of the jumpsuit this fashion week, I would like to draw attention to another slowly emerging (and far more intriguing) trend this season : the Jesus-suit.

Here it is at one of the 1st hows of the season, Yigal Azrouel. A long white robe tied at the waist, conservative long sleeves, and an earth tone underneath - so Jesus. While he may have passed on the heeled moccasin (at least for day), I'm sure he would've worked this shit out.

And here is our Lord again at Thakoon. What better way for Jesus to celebrate his last dinner than in this perfectly draped eggshell from the current king of political fashion. If it's good enough for Michelle Obama, it would certainly suit the Lord.

And perhaps in the biggest embrace of Jesus couture came from Lacoste. In the season's most joyous runway (Karlie Kloss and Alana Zimmer smiling = priceless), Jesus was the opening act. Complete with robes, tunics, turbans and sandals, Lemaire served the most literal interpretation of the trend. While he may have passed on gray bikini, you know Jesus would have loved that wicker purse bursting with flowers. You know, spreading the love and all...
