Deep purples and fringe! A headband! Strappy sandals! Check up on it! Glad to see an actual teenager hoofing it in Teen Vogue, and kudos to them for choosing a black girl to work for her dinner. Meet Rose, from the Dominican Republic, who clopped down the runway for Louis Vuitton last season. If this were American Vogue, Rose would probably be stuck smiling mid-slums and striding amongst bedraggled children on a baseball diamond. Keep it inside ladies!

Random Akimbo // French Connection

Whilst wondering through SoHo, tiny hands clenched around enormous lattees, AnA took a chance and entered French Connection. We passed by the cargo shorts and other eye-damaging paraphernalia and suprised ourselves with some under- $75 bow ties in pleasing black and white. They will look cute done with some colorful sneakers, all under $200.
